The previous owner ran kerosene heaters improperly in the house, creating soot stains everywhere.

April 2020
This was the last room to be demolished.

We plan on making this a functional wood burning stove. 

The finial can be removed to reveal a flat plate, possibly for water to humidify the air.

June 2021


We had the parlor chimney lined. It was an ordeal, there was a collapse that the company we hired didn't find before they agreed to the job. They broke through the second flue at the upstairs fireplace and snaked it through there.

June 2022
The box bay windows were with replaced with second hand windows that Pete bought on Facebook Marketplace. He bought about 8 of them for $200. The only downside is that they are wood exterior. We will have to re-paint them over time.
