This was nailed to a post inside the walls of the upstairs bathroom. The Grahams were one of the families that lived in the house. The name written here is Joseph G Glynn Graham, followed by our address
The strangest architectural detail found so far. This stone lined 7 foot deep pit is under the back porch floor. Its got a cut-off pipe cemented into it, It may be a dry well, built to collect storm water runoff, or a cistern.

This plate was found in the ceiling in the maids room.
We found a Victorian wallpaper border under the drop ceiling in the old kitchen that we thought was original until Pete saw it was glued on top of sheet rock.

Bits of history
Pete found a couple sheets of newspaper in the attic walls. I managed to flatten them out without destroying them completely. Commentary about these are in the March 2019 entry

This wallpaper, found at the bottom of the main staircase, matched the one found in the kitchen.
