Leaky and rotting copper pipes
The owner turned on the water from the main right before inspection, bursting the pipes. We never found out if he was bring passive aggressive or is just a moron. The pipe shaped icicle in the photo above is quite remarkable!
We are grateful these are not structural walls!!

We had the house structurally reinforced. The main beam was removed and replaced. The house was raised five inches.
Temporary columns installed.
The house getting heavier!
Hammering the first 2x10 into place.
Triple beam sandwich complete!
The house is level!
Beams cemented into the foundation.
The posts secured to the concrete pad.
All work complete.

Pete and Dad built a new staircase to the basement after I learned Pete fell off the ladder to the basement, broke his collarbone, and didn't seek medical intervention!
